Report: | On paper, this looked a close one as Kings turned up without their superstar line-up. However after good promise at the start of each match, the Hythe boys came off second best ! The exception was Kayvan who blitzed his way to a 3-1 win over Byron. Steve used his rather large arse (and good skills)to make Phil run an extra yard for each shot, resulting in a 3-1 win. Nick's sledgehammer approach worked for a while until a little more craft from Scott also gave him a 3-1 win. Ray stared his best but Mark bullied his way again to a 3-1 win. And despite a good start, Glenn ran out of steam to lose 3-1 against Dan. A late finish and despite an excellent curry from the Everest, several found it hard to eat (leftovers for my lunch today) ! |
