| Report: | A battling performance for Hythe was not enough to stop a rampant Mote team taking the match 4-1. The first 3 strings for Hythe (Phil, Nic and Ray) were bulldozered by very sharp performances from Ryan D, Simon and Dave. Tom, in his first game back from injury showed glimpses of his skills in nicking a game from Paul in the 4th string match. It was only in the 5's that Glenn played a tight line and length with a little trickery, to come home 3-1 against Ryan A and secure the only victory for Hythe. Matches were all played in a good spirit and the customary curry followed to make a sociable evening. |
