While unable to compete i did give Simon a friendly hit as important to recognize that players look forward to their weekly match. Crazy things went on in the middle two strings where games scores seesawed from one to the other particularly between Phil and Ben. Ben having trained too hard earlier in the week seemed to not own his own body in the first two games but then scrapped the third against a confused Phil who struggled to deal with the new resistance before his collapse in the 4th. Phil then got him self motivated in the final break bashing the ball around to get going again in the 5th.
