| Report: | A very enjoyable evening with the boys from Elwick, 1st on;
John v Keith - Keith started well but once John got the weekend out of his system started to wear keith down with some steady persistent length hitting, a close game in the 3rd could have gone either way, John just doing enough to close it out after saving a game ball.
Next up - Ray and "check out my shoe repair" Gary
The 1st was a tight affair that could have gone either way, Gary moving very well and putting in some hard yards. Ray took control in the 2nd and 3rd to close out a solid 3-0 win. Good to see the repair held out Gary ;)
Ross and Roger - was marking so didn't see any of this, Ross making his Hythe 1st team debut, started well by all accounts before Roger's hard hitting took him to a 3;1 win.
Phil and Alex - Story of this game, Alex slamming in some outrageous powerful winners with some great touch and skill, Phil running around a lot, eventually Alex tired (thankfully) which helped Phil take control in the middle part of the 2nd. 3-0 Phil
last on Nick "i'm never on time" Barnes - Bill
Good orthodox squash on display from both Bill and Nick, Bill working hard to push Nick close in the 1st and at 5-5 could have gone either way, Nick's power hitting and a few unforced errors from Bill meant Nick came out on top 3:0.
The evening finished off with a very nice curry from the Everest washed down with a pint or 2.
