| Report: | Despite a last minute panic when Dan our no 2 injured his hand and the team all played up a spot, we secured a much needed win. Mark and Andy had a great run out with some fantastic rallies, Mark's experience overcoming Andy's impressive fitness in the end. Richard couldn't get into his game from the off, and suffered a tonking. Clive managed to beat his usual old opponent Stuart 3-0, with some long rallies in the match. Angie played her old adversary Nigel, and managed to get back into the game after a shaky start to win 3-1. Pete had a stonker of a match against Tom - long hard rallies and every game going to the max - a well fought, and well deserved win for Pete tonight. Great lads - look forward to seeing you all in the second half. |
